My name is Ashley Wright
I'm Infinitely inspired by childhood memories of the late 80s/90s. The music, art, pop culture, and growing up in beautiful Southern California burned a lasting impression in my mind. A way to steal small aspects of joy as my childhood was in chaos around me. For me, to create art, is to release the inner world and perception I have built for myself throughout trauma. Allowing joy to takehold as an act of resistance.Art is an incredible tool to help me process my emotions and share a colorful take on mental health in art.

In this show, we delve deep into the themes of mental health, nostalgia, and the power of color, expressing the complexities of our inner landscapes through a variety of mediums. My work, alongside that of Julie Beloussow and Natasha Rindt, offers a unique lens into the intimate, sometimes hidden aspects of our emotional and psychological experiences.
